Hi guys!

 

It is soooo difficult for me to write good posts while I'm on my lunch break so I usually just do tags! Some I have actually been tagged or some I have just found on the internet. But I promise I'll get some good posts up this weekend, PINKY PROMISE!

1.Do you have a middle name?
Yep, its Amanda : )

2. What was your favourite subject in school?
I had three! P.E., Art and Home Economics.

3. What’s your favourite drink? 
I love Pellegrino lemonade and Naked Juice - Green Machine, Yum! Oh, and COFFEE of course!!

 4. Favourite song at the moment? 
Lana Del Ray's song 'young and beautiful'. Its so haunting <3

 5. What would you name your children? 
Arianna or Hayley for a girl and either Struan or Joshua for a boy.

 6. Do you participate in any sports? 
Before I went to uni, I used to do loads of horse riding. But now, I just work out. Don't really have the time for sports!

 7. Favourite Book?
Garden Spells by Sarah Addison Allen and the Hunger Games trilogy.

8. Favourite Colour? 
Yellow :)

 9. Favourite Animal?
 I have loads! Horses, kittens, Nemooo, penguins and owls! I like puffins too!

Hugo Boss Orange for Women is my all time favourite!

 11. Favourite holiday? 
This wasn't necessarily a holiday, but my boyfriend and I went to Inverness for the night and it was the best time I've ever had <3

 12. Have you graduated High School? 
Yeah, I left school in 2008! Graduated from uni this year too!

 13. Have you been out of the Country? 
Lots of times :)

 14. Do you speak any other Languages? 
No, I am the worst at languages!

 15. Do you have any siblings? 
I've got two big sisters, Emma and Nyree.

 16. What’s your favourite store? 
I love the Disney shop, Primark and republic (I think its closed down now though *sad face*.

 17. Favourite Restaurant? 
Stathvaigin in the West End of Glasgow - its ah-maze-inngg!

 18. Did you like school?
Yeah, I really enjoyed it. I made some really good friends that I hope to have for the rest of my life <3

Again, I have lots! Finding Nemo, Coraline, Practical Magic, Legally Blonde, the Twilight films....the list is endless.

 20. Favourite TV show? 
PRETTY LITTLE LIARS (without a doubt)! I love Nashville, Catfish and True blood too ;)

 21. Pc or Mac? 
PC at the moment, but I would really like a Mac, but they're sooooo expensive!

 22. What phone do you have?
The iPhone 5 :)

I think I'm either 5"3 or 5"4.

 

24. What do you order at Starbucks? 
I either have a caramel macchiato or a skinny vanilla latte depending on my mood! But I simply adore the festive coffees they do including gingerbread lattes and pumpkin spiced lattes....yummy!!!

My Kitten, Lilly! It's her favourite hiding place :D

 26. What’s one thing most people probably don’t know about you?
My real name is Lucinda, BOKE! Lucy is my shortened name that everyone calls me though :)

 27. Name one thing you want to do before you die… 
Have babies :)

 28. What’s one food you cannot live without? 
Kettle Chips, just the lightly salted ones..mmmm.

 29. What quote/phrase do you live by?
Probably 'by the way' or 'at the end of the day', lol!

30. What’s your most listened to song on iTunes?
Probably Lana Del Ray's 'Young and Beautiful'.

31. What kind of style would you define yourself as having?
Scruffball! Ha ha, joking! Probably comfy chic LOL!

32. Favourite number?
13, unlucky for some but lucky for me! I was born on the 13th ;)

 33. Two Hobbies?
Blogging and doing my makeup :) That sounds weird as a hobby but I love creating new looks!

 34. Two Pet Peeves?
People that breathe really loudly and Guy (my boyfriend) not picking up after himself!

35. Guilty Pleasures?
Hollyoaks, I know some people (Guy) can't stand it, but I'm addicted! The acting can be a bit cringey sometimes but the storylines makeup for it!

Beauty Things I Suck At!

Morning love bugs!

 

The gorgeous Leah at http://www.painteddaisies.co.uk  has tagged me in this delightful little post...Beauty things I SUCK at! Oh, to name a few...in all honesty though, you're never gonna do something perfect first time and practice does make perfect. However, there are things that I just cannot do! No matter how many times I practice it, have a look below and let me know if you struggle with these things too in the comments : )

#1 - Liquid liner

I can never do the perfect winged cat eye. One eye is always perfect and the exact thickness I want, but the other eye ALWAYS decides to be difficult! But not only is the application of liquid liner a no-can-do in my book, on the odd occasion where it actually looks okay, my eyes always decide to run in the outer corners if they so much as get a blink of sunlight. Its an absolute pain in the bahookie! So my solution? Eyeshadow & a skinny brush! That's what I like to do to line my eyes, not only is it much easier to apply and doesn't make my eyes water but it looks amazing and gives off a really smokey effect.

 

#2 - Painting my nails on my right hand

Similar to one of Leah's answers, I honestly cannot do it. Its so difficult. I have an excuse though! My hands like to shake from time to time. I think it may have something to do with how much sugar I consume. I get shaky hands in the morning and sometimes after I've eaten later on in the day. I've never went to the doctors about it because my mum sometimes gets it too. But yeah, I think that reason contributes to the lack of precision I seem to have when painting the nails on my right hand.

 

#3 - Applying shimmer/glitter

When it comes to applying a slight shimmer on the lid, cheek bones or shoulder, I am THEE WORST person ever to be in charge. I absolutely LOVE glitter, so if you hand me a pot of the sparkly stuff I cannot be responsible for my actions. There is no such thing as a shimmer when I'm in charge. Whenever I do decide to apply a little sparkle I end up looking like a disco ball.

 

So that's about it guys, I think I am actually okay with regards to everything else. If I think of something or remember something I am really bad at, I'll add it to the post.

Skin Care TAG!

The Autumn Tag

I spotted this tag on www.makeup-pixi3.com and thought it was an excellent idea for a post! I am going to tag some fellow bloggers at the end of this post but feel free to do the tag!   1.    Favourite thing about autumn? Oh that’s hard! I don’t think I only have one main favourite to be honest. I love everything about autumn. The colours (leaves, fashion), smells (burning leaves), tastes (pumpkin spiced lattes)…everything!!   2.    Favourite drink? It has to be either the pumpkin spiced lattes that Starbucks do at this time of year or Nescafe’s instant gingerbread latte! Wouldn’t say no to a hot chocolate though ;)   3.    Favourite scent/candle? Well I’ve already mentioned that I love the smell of burning leaves. So candle wise, I love Yankee candle ‘blissful autumn’ and ‘fireside treats’.   4.    Best lipstick? I usually stick to the same colours all year round which is bad! So I am gonna try hard to work a dark lip this fall/winter. I particularly like the vampy look.   5.    Go to moisturiser? Definitely Clinique’s dramatically different moisture lotion for combination/oily skin J   6.    Go to colours for the eyes? I always tend to do a smokey eye, usually like to use brighter colours in the spring/summertime but I love a dark smokey eye for the fall.   7.    Favourite music or band/singer to listen to? I love to listen to Paramore and Florence & the Machine at this time of year. I think Hayley’s and Florence’s voice are really suited to the colder months if that makes sense!   8.    Favourite outfit to wear? Layers! Lots and lots of layers!! Boots/uggs, leg warmers, tights, shorts, vest, long cardigan and a scarf!   9.    Autumn treat? Lots and lots of cuddles to keep warm!   10. Favourite place to be? Definitely at home, with candles lit, watching a film, drinking hot chocolate whilst cuddling into my boyfriend and kitten.   Hope you have enjoyed reading my answers!  The people I have tagged are as follows:

1)     If you could go back to any era in time, which would you visit?

The 1920’s. I recently saw The Great Gatsby and fell in love with the time. The fashion, architecture, music and attitudes are what simply draw me to the era. Another thing that I love about this decade were the attitudes of men. They were still gentlemen and that’s to find a gentleman these days is a rare thing!

2)     Can money buy happiness?

Not.At.All. I am one of the happiest people in the world, but that is due to the people I surround myself with. End of.

3)     Favourite place you've visited

Inverness with Guy, it was a truly wonderful trip and I enjoyed every minute.

4)     One word to describe you

BLONDE

5)     Favourite animal

No, no, no! This is not fair!! I have so many! I love my kitten to death! I also have a thing for clown fish, penguins, OWLSSSSS and horses.

6)     One product you can't live without.
