What's in my Bag!

Hello my wee dolls!

How are we all? I love watching what's in my bag youtube videos so thought it would be a good idea to do for a blog post! So here we go....

This is my bag I use everyday. It's a Ted Baker tote I got for my birthday and I am so in love with it! It has one main compartment and a smaller compartment on the inside wall of the bag. It holds so much stuff but I try to keep what I carry around with me to a minimum as it gets beyond a joke at the amount of rubbish that I accumulate in my bag given the chance!

Now this is just an overview of everything that is currently in my bag. Starting at the top left I have: a book by Neal Shusterman called 'Unwind'; my Filofax; a recent CIBSE Engineering journal; a bottle of water; my makeup bag; hair ties; a back combing brush; my business cards; my Radley purse; Soap & Glory hand food; B&BW pumpkin cupcake hand sanitiser; paracetamol; a hair grip; lip products; Chanel nail varnish; a hair band and Next perfume.

Here's a close up of the lip products etc in my bag: we have a Nivea Lip butter in raspberry rose, Model Co lipgloss in berry pink, Rimmel lipstick in 117 Glam, Clinique lipstick in rosette, Babylips in pink punch, MAC lipstick in overtime, Collection 2000 lipstick in plum perfection and Chanel's nail colour in 543 Frisson.

Another little close up : )

Now for a little look inside my makeup bag! This is the make-up bag I keep in my bag at all times as I use most of the products on a day to day basis. The make up bag is by MAC and was from their 2011/12 holiday collection. Below the makeup bag we have: NARS eyeshadow duo in hula hula; Chanel eyeshadow duo in misty soft; Rimmel lip liner in wine; Rimmel lip liner in east end snob; MAC lip liner in boldly bare; MACs prep & prime in radiant rose; Garneier's concealer; Collection 2000's big fake ultimate mascara in ultra black; Rimmel liquid liner in 100% black; Benefit's speed brow; Clinique's bottom lash mascara; Clinique compact blush brush; Benefit's girl meets pearl; Palmer's cocoa butter lip balm; MAC eyeshadow in cork (I use it for my brows when I'm not using my Naked palette; a hair band and a mac powder sponge/puff thingy!

Here's a close up of the eyeshadow duos. The NARS duo consists of a pale rosey pink and a lovely gold, both loaded with shimmer! And the Chanel is my go to colours for fall as mentioned in my autumn day post.

I thought it would be fun to tag some of my favourite bloggers to do this post too! The lovely girlies I tag to do the 'Whats in my bag' post are as follows:

My Love for Makeup...

This sounds a bit weird, but I can honestly say that make-up is like a hobby for me. Ever since I was allowed to start wearing make-up, I have loved to experiment with different colours and looks.

However, I have made some huge make-up no-nos in the past, but I think that you need to make these mistakes in order to teach yourself well.

MAC has always been a favourite of mine, but I love Clinique and other upper-end brands. Don't get me wrong though, I love your everyday makeup brands too! I only use Rimmel or Maybeline foundation because I feel that they are the best for my skin and they don't break the bank.

I've learned that blending is key...and you can never go wrong with a classic cat-eye...

But it's also fun to experiment with more vibrant colours. The blending in the photo below isn't that great but hey, that's all a part of the learning experience!

Whats your favourite make-up look? Natural or Glam? There's so many different looks you can achieve if you have the confidence to experiment.

So, go for it girls!

xoxo
